I recently had to deal with a sliding door fitting for a wardrobe at home, and honestly, I thought it would be way simpler than it turned out to be. The track alignment took more time than I expected. Maybe it’s just me, but getting the door to slide smoothly without that annoying scraping sound was a bit frustrating.
I ended up checking out some hardware options from Anwer Hardware. Not saying everything was perfect, but the material felt decent enough for the price. One thing I did notice though, the rollers needed a bit of adjustment after installation, otherwise the door didn’t sit right.
Also, if your wall or floor isn’t perfectly level, things can get tricky. I didn’t think that would matter much, but it actually does. Had to redo part of the fitting because of that.
I guess sliding doors look clean and save space, but the setup can be a bit picky.
Anyone else faced similar issues with sliding door fitting, or is there some trick I might have missed?
