TkaraokeUSB freezes on most YouTube songs in the last 3 weeks. A hard restart of the song server allows me to play 1 YouTube song and then it freezes again. Any idea what’s causing it? Thanks.

the latest version 1.148 on Nvda Shield Pro with the latest Android OS.
I have the same issue about 2 moths ago only some song, I though it was youtube now the condition get worst.

It appears that YouTube is implementing some sort of bandwidth toggling. What this means is it will slow down the rate it serves the video file. We are looking into ways to combat this.
Looks like it affects TKaraoke Pro as well, videos stutter like bad internet

Try to Options-> Video -> Youtube Video Quality -> Unchecked High Quality

For long I have not used TkaraokeUSB on my TV Sony 900H with android version 10.
Load TkaraokeUSB latest version V 1.150 did not find a hard drive? it had been worked before with the same drive with previous adndroid version.

NB: tested with other Sony TV (2015 model 810C) with addroid version 8, worked as expected. So with recent updated on new TV Sony 900H to android version 10, it broke TkaraokeUSB.

Have you set storage permisson yet?
@nien Yes. This hard drive is working fine with VLC, and other apps.

Is your Sony TV running Android 10 or 11? I think 10 is ok but 11 introduced a new security requirement that won't allow reading the hard drive. We are working on a fix on TKaraokeUSB to support Android 11.
